Educator Bandwidth: How to Reclaim Your Energy, Passion, and Time

This is a GREAT book! There are several essential nuggets in this book; one we think is important is, "Adults can't guide students in social and emotional learning if the adults are burned out, disengaged, and ineffective!" (Kise and Holm, 2022)

Developing inner strength and resilience takes self-compassion. Being kind to ourselves is critical to achieving a fulfilling work-life balance. We highly recommend reading the collection of books that support developing self-compassion to have a compassionate relationship with self and others.

Kindle Paperwhite (16 G.B.) – Now with a 6.8" display and adjustable warm light, have you ever wanted certain books with you but forgot them in the classroom or at home? Our favorite way to carry around all those teacher books we want to refer to is on our Kindle.

Also, with a library membership, many books can be borrowed and loaded on your Kindle. You can even load a PDF to read there later or to have. The best part for me is that I read in bed at night with the lights off; it doesn't affect your eyes or your partner.

Here is one version, but there are many others. Check them out on Amazon.
